Trans Day of Visibility 2025

The Marra Project and Bookwyrm are delighted to announce an event for Trans Day of Visibility this year on 30th March 11am-4pm at One Strawberry Lane in Newcastle.

The event is a day organised by the community and for the community and offers space for trans and non binary people to come together, find community, and celebrate their identity.

There will be a range of market stalls featuring local trans and non binary makers and creatives, workshops celebrating trans joy, a clothes drive hosted by Newcastle Queer Art Club, space for board games and conversation, our trans flag art project, and a sensory room.

It will be an event filled with joy and excitement in a fully wheelchair-accessible venue with gender-neutral toilets, meaning that everyone can be involved.
